Since it takes only 3inch x 3inch size of fabric, I chose my favorite print which I only have so little, it takes my gut to cut it.
Are you like me? Is it hard for you to cut if the fabric is no longer available or no where to find? Then let’s be friend!! LOL
How to make:
*finished size: 2.5inch x 2.5inch
*Linen is from MODA Fabric, name is LINEN MOCHI DOT. It is not 100% linen still I love and love the look and thickness.
Stitch with your sewing machine(I use Aurifil MAKO’ NE 50/2) or by hand(if by hand, I recommend 1 stand of embroidery thread for it’s so thin and busy illustration.)
For the thicker line, I used Aurifil 12/2. I love and love the thickness! It almost look like hand embroidery.
Trim the linen 3inch x 3inch. Make a knot and place on center of linen, cover with same size cotton. Facing right side together.
*make sure the string is long enough to attach a scissor. I bought this brown string at JoAnn.
Sew all the way, leave a hole. Sew multiful times where the string is.
Take inside out, Iron, fill in the poly fill stuffing. Close the hole by hand.
I personally like quilting thread when I close the hole. I bought this thread at JoAnn cost only 1$.(when it is on sale.)
Happy Easter, my friends!
