Afternoon Picnic blog tour

Afternoon Picnic blog tour

Hello friends,

It’s my stop at Afternood Picnic collection by Nancy Zieman Productions for Riley Blake designs.

As I personally didn’t know Nancy very well, I would like to share Cindy Cloward’s beautiful blog post,

Remembering Nancy Zieman.

I picked the floral prints and made two set of  placemats and napkins. I hope to make three more sets for all my family members.

You can find my free tutorial for how to sew this clean corners on WeAllSew.com.

I also made a oven mit and let my husband use. I should make a matching apron for him, right?

Notions used:

I hope you enjoyed my projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Minki xx

      Hi Sandra,
      Thank you for visiting me!
I roughly traced the placemat I got at Home Goods long ago. If I have a chance to make a pattern, I will announce here. Thank you!

  3. I also would love to have the pattern for the placemat. The fabric is beautiful and you did a great job sewing them.

  4. Afternoon Picnic is loaded with wonderful florals and coursework service uk some charming ginghams that help me to remember a Spring garden outing. This photograph demonstrates an examining of a portion of the textures in the collection.

  5. Hi Minki,
Thank you for your lovely pattern. I love your work. Do you have any instruction for making this doily?

    1. We can no more justify using nonhumans as human resources than we can justify human slavery. Animal use and slavery have at least one important point in common: both institutions treat sentient beings exclusively as resources of others. That cannot be justified with respect to humans; it cannot be justified with respect to nonhumans—however “humanely” we treat them.
