This book was love at first sight before I even started reading!
Little Traveller is full of amazing detailed projects. I mean it.
And you would stop and pause on each page because all the little attention to detail is pleasing by looking at.
I have to tell you though, if you are a first time doll maker, it would bet a little hard to follow the steps.
Hand-drawn instructions are good for a experienced doll maker, like me 😉 But don’t be scared because everybody is a beginner at any new project and the second try is always easier!
I struggled a bit machine sewing wool felts for I am more used of hand stitches.
Can you tell which one is my first try and which one is the second?
I bet you can’t. haha..
This girl is my first try. Believe it or not, I had to use a hundred pins to attach the head to the body. 😉
And I learnt from my first experience so this guy was easier.
I used Wool-Bright cotton instead of wool felt. That’s my tip if you have never sew wool felt before.
Start with Wool-Bright cotton and then move forward to wool felt. Because thinner fabric is easy to sew the pieces and turn right side out.
They will live happily ever after for sure!
