Hi friends, It’s been a while that I drew something with my sewing machine. So I drew this sewing tray and finished as a scrappy version of my Little Friend zip pouch. I like how it came out although I kind of regret that I used gray thread instead of black and that scissor looks too big….well, I hope I will do better next time.  😀 Oh, and I am very happy that my Someday Graphic Tan fabric goes well with linen! I hope you agree with me. *wink* You can find my downloadable PDF pattern on my shop SewingIllustration.com.          Read More →

Hello friends, I would like to share various project ideas that you can create using motifs from my book DIARY IN STITCHES.   This is the first sewing machine cover and I changed the design for the book. Choose your preferred design and add your own twist. That’s the charm of my book, Mix and Match!     I wanted to show how you can use for hand embroidery instead of machine applique. I think it’s equally charming. If you are hand emboridery expert, your sewing case will be even more beautiful!   It’s just perfect size so I can bring to swimming pool orRead More →

Another rainy day! I couldn’t stop using my Stitched illustration, so I made a medium size zipper pouch. Finished size: 7″wide x 9 1/2″ long Batting: I used ByAnnie’s Soft and Stable. If you want to make a sturdy bag and pouch that holds it’s shape, I highly recommend Soft and Stable. It’s thiner than other product that makes sewing super easy. And I used Aurifil 12 weight threads for my hand embroidery for the first time and I love the results!   I attached the zipper by hand at the last step. One of my Pincushion 2017 illustrations. Do you remember my Chubby Pouch? I thought I could make the same pouch any time so I used it for the Instagram Giveaway. Well, I haven’t made it since then and I have missed my cute pouch to be honest. It was raining for the last week and all of sudden I felt like making that chubby pouch for myself. You know, sewing is the best thing for the rainy day. This is how I made this winter version and I really think I would make more this time because it’s so cute! *wink* You can purchase my Chubby Pouch pattern at SewingIllustration.com.  Read More →
